Privacy & Cookie Policy

How John Galt Finance handles visitor and client data. Questions: alex@johngalt.rocks.

What we collect

When you send a note or book a call we collect the details you type in: name, work email, company and your message. We use them only to reply and to prepare the call.

Cookies and measurement

We load a single tag – Google Tag Manager – which manages analytics and advertising tags. Until you accept cookies, analytics and advertising storage stay denied (Google Consent Mode v2) and no marketing cookies are written.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data in your browser: the cookie banner will appear again.

Meta Conversions API

If – and only if – you accept marketing cookies, we may send a server-side conversion event to Meta (Facebook/Instagram advertising) when you submit the contact form or confirm a booking. Without your consent no such event is sent.

The event contains: your email address as an irreversible SHA-256 hash (never in plain text), your IP address and browser user-agent as seen by our server, the Meta cookie identifiers (_fbp/_fbc) if they exist, the page URL and a random event identifier used to deduplicate the browser and server event. We never send your name, phone number or the text of your message to Meta, and we never send personal data to Google Analytics.

Retention and your rights

Enquiries are kept as long as needed for the client relationship and legal record-keeping. You can request access, correction or deletion of your data at alex@johngalt.rocks and we reply within one business day.
